Hallelujah Chorus!
Worshipping God can happen anywhere!



Imagine the surprise of the unsuspecting people in this mall food court when they are serenaded by all these lovely voices joining together to sing the Hallelujah Chorus! How wonderful it must have been to be there in person, the acoustics had to be fantastic! Hearing this makes me want to stand up and join in the chorus! What an awesome blessing to have the freedom to worship God anywhere! Have blessed Christmas season!

The Jelly Bean Prayer

Red is for the blood He gave.
Green is for the grass He made.
Yellow is for the sun so bright.
Orange is for the edge of night.
Black is for the sins we made.
White is for the grace He gave.
Purple is for His hour of sorrow.
Pink is for our new tomorrow.
A jar full of jelly beans so colorful and sweet;
is a prayer, is a promise, is a loved one's treat.

The Legend of the Dogwood Tree

When Christ was on earth, the dogwood grew

To a towering size with a lovely hue.

Its branches were strong and interwoven,

And for Christ's cross its timbers were chosen.

Being distressed at the use of this wood

Christ made a promise that still holds good.

"Not ever again shall the dogwood grow

To be large enough for a tree, and so

Slender and twisted it shall always be

With cross-shaped blossoms for all to see.

The petals shall have bloodstains marked in brown

And in the blossoms' center a thorny crown.

All who see it will think of me,

Nailed to a cross from a dogwood tree.

Protected and cherished this tree shall be

A reflection to all of my agony."

Thoughts to pass on....

If you are impatient, sit down quietly and talk with Job.

If you are just a little strong-headed, go see Moses.

If you are getting weak-knee'd, take a good look at Elijah.

If there is no song in your heart, listen to David.

If your faith is below par, read Paul.

If you are getting lazy, watch James.

If you are losing sight of the future, climb up the stairs of Revelation, and get a glimpse of the Promise.

GOD Said NO -

I asked God to take away my habit.

God said, No. It is not for me to take away, But for you to give it up.

I asked God to make my handicapped child whole.

God said, No. His spirit is whole, his body is only temporary.

I asked God to grant me patience.

God said, No. Patience is a byproduct of tribulations; It isn't granted, it is learned.

I asked God to give me happiness.

God said, No. I give you blessings; Happiness is up to you.

I asked God to spare me pain.

God said, No. Suffering draws you apart from Worldly cares And brings you closer to me.

I asked God to make my spirit grow.

God said, No. You must grow on your own, But I will prune you to make you fruitful.

I asked God for all things That I might enjoy life.

God said, No. I will give you life, So that you may enjoy all things.

I asked God to help me LOVE others, as much as He loves me.

God said...Ahhhh, Finally you have the idea.

If you love God, send it on.

This day is yours, don't throw it away!

May Apples are all over the woods around our home! The plant is a large single leaf that is almost 10 inches across, and I've heard that they produce some kind of fruit too! I will have to post a picture of that when I find some!

Get out and enjoy to the world around you, there are so many wonderful things to see! Have a fantastic day!
